Never stop working on you!

Here I am starting over again......... again. I have put on 20 pounds since the last time I started over. Putting me at the highest I have ever been. Why can't I get this under control and stay working on my weight and fitness? Having fibro is an issue. But I got to not let it get in the way. Work out on the days my body lets me. I have realized that if I don't monitor what I am eating either in a journal or on spark people that I just pile the food in. When someone else eats, I eat whether I am hungry or not. The last week I have stopped that. I am measuring my food. Also being mindful of what I eat. Making sure I get at least 5-32 oz glasses or more in of water. So here is to starting over again.

    I have fibro and Lupus. I truly understand. I start and stop especially when I am in a flare. Its and on going process. Just have to keep fighting. emoticon

    Welcome back! I recently rejoined on here myself. I struggke with fibro and arthritis (knees), so I can relate. Qi gong has been the best exercise I've found, followed by easy water exercise and gentle yoga/stretching. I'd be happy to tell you about the qi gong videos I use if you want to check that out. I love qi gong because it's gentle rhythmic movement (it's meant to mimic the flow of water), plus it requires no equipment whatsoever.
