Fill your cup!

Positive Self Care adds to your life by giving to yourself so that you can in turn be there for others. It is not selfish.

I’ve been posting about self care and that focus- how taking care of ourselves rather than dieting, actually helps us lose weight so we can be there for others.

How many times have you been “Good” on your diet only to find the scale be a negative crab that day?
How has that made you feel?
What if you counted the positive choices and habits you were creating each day?
What would happen if you journaled about the things you did right each day?
How would that make you feel?

Weight loss this way does NOT happen fast or immediately but it does happen long term and in my case in great great quantities.

I do not consider tracking dieting unless you get way crazy about the counts. I try to track for awareness. I want to make sure I’m getting good nutrition and know what I’m eating. Yes, I do eat junk sometimes in moderation. It took years to be able to do that.
