January 2020 recap

I cannot believe that February is here already, January came and went in a blur! I started 2020 with a 13.4 lb loss. All that from simply switching my diet to mostly plant based foods, and eating mindfully. I'm really proud of being able to control my eating, and I have tried a whole lot of new foods that are healthy and filling. I actually found vegan Daiya greek yogurt at the store today. I'm not sure how many of you folks like non-dairy yogurt, but it's been a struggle to find a brand that wasn't high in sugar. Well Daiya's has only 5 grams of sugar! It's plain, but that's fine with me. I can put fruit and granola on it, and i can probably use it in place of sour cream also. YUM!!! My goal for February will be to continue on with my journey. I plan to keep making mindful choices about food, drink more water, and will start incorporating 30 mins of exercise two days a week. I hope everyone out there has a fantastic February!
