Down and Up

Faltered a bit yesterday. Had a run in with s'mores and potato chips in the evening! Followed by the usual guilt and negative self talk. Why do we do that?

This morning while making my breakfast at 3am (I will never, ever get used to these early hours!!!), I decided to embrace the prior evening's fleeting enjoyment of sweet and salty deliciousness and firmly cast myself back on THE ROAD.

Walked outside (dragged the 15 year old again) and ran some intervals on the trusty treadmill. Tracked my food and fitness. And ordered college textbooks for 18 year old. Amazing the money one can save by avoiding the college bookstore!

Could swear I felt a bit of autumn in the air today. Wishful thinking maybe - I love those crisp fall days!
