If I had looked at how much I had to lose when I started SparkPeople I probably would not have even started on this healthy lifestyle journey. I sit here shaking my head because I know how true that is. I contented myself with weighing once a week until I made it to just under 200 lbs. I guess my vision stopped at 200 lbs.

I had never made goals as a child, I didn't know how and my parents either didn't think of it or didn't know about setting goals. Then in Team 300 lbs. Plus one of the leaders created a challenge for us to set and make goals. Huh??? Well, my sister Thoms1 was signed up for it so I figured I might as well do it also. This poor woman had to lead us by the hand. Fortunately she gave us good examples to follow. That is how I learned to set goals.

Now when I weigh-in with my At Goal and Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance Team I just have to laugh to myself and say WOW I did this! I have lost 180 lbs.
