DH planned menu for Thanksgiving
Wednesday, November 25, 2020
good morning - I am GRATEFUL that he is so excited to have planned the menu and will be doing the cooking. We are not having anything on the menu that is traditional - like turkey. He has his Weight Watchers Recipe Books. We chose the menu with options that he wanted to cook. But we decided together to eat a unique meal. We are going to have soup, salad, main course which is a vegetable Tangine, fruit salad for dessert. Now If I had the family over, it would be more traditional. I am grateful that he even wants to cook. He is so close to the goal that he wants to get it off again. 4 more lbs for him. I am looking forward to eating a good meal. Normally this can turn into a huge feast. It will be just nice to be able to sit back (I hope). I will assist only if he asks b/c he is very territorial when he cooks. Everyone out of the kitchen! Sending a bouquet for my DD's table. I am glad that my 3-year-old GD will be spending the day with her cousins. Have a wonderful day. I will. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
