Joanna Mae Somers

The lilies of the valley rang,
The garden fairies flew,
At the time you left for Heaven,
And all the angels knew,
God’s garden would be tended,
With more than expert care,
It would be loved and honored,
With Joanna Somers there,
The roses will smell sweeter,
Forget me nots will remind,
Foxgloves will be bolder,
And sunflowers real sunshine,
She will meet and greet every soul,
With a story of hers to share,
That’s because when she’s around,
There are no strangers there,
Our hearts may grieve the loss of her,
But know in each rain fall,
She is up there watering the flowers,
And surely having a ball.

Your Loving Niece,
Beth Donovan
