Spark Coach Exercise: Out of Sight Out of Mind!

Needless to say it does work! I would be embarrassed if one of my spark friends came to my house and opened my bedroom closet doors. I have a stash of snacks in there. In my bureau in the top drawer you would find candy. Fortunately candy is not a huge trigger food. Closet houses crackers or sometimes cookies or nuts.

I really have to watch myself when I am at Costco. To walk on by and leave the goodies in the big box store. It helps when I shop with Thoms1. She is really self disciplined. Sometimes I will buy something when I am with her and she will not call me on it. Just give me a look with raised eyebrows and leave it at that.

One of us will always ask how'd you do today (meaning on the scale). If I say a gain I will add, I know why. The sodium always comes back to haunt me. Fortunately, it doesn't happen that often and it hasn't led me to a more than 5-10 minute binge since I have been with sparkpeople. I am a firm believer in, make sure you log it in your tracker! Do better with your next bite.
