Scale Frustration!

Wednesday, January 27, 2021

Every time I get close to reaching the next decade of numbers (190-199, 180-189, 170-179, etc.) I seem to stall out. I know it is just a number and stalls happen all the time! I will keep pushing forward and some morning I will see that 169.9 pounds.

Hopefully, then I will continue down the 160's and not stall out and reach 159.9 pounds. Etc. Etc.

ALways a struggle for ME!

Intermittent fasting is a great tool but I bet your job makes it hard to do that.

    It's free! and it works.

James in the passage below says the same thing. I think that is why I am dropping fast.

Take care and good luck. I have been in the 160s for almost a year now.. It is FINALLY dropping because of IF.

I know what you mean... I sometimes have to remind myself that maintaining is just as important as losing... once you hit your goal you’ll have to become a maintenance expert!

But what progress you have made, great work.

I never heard it put as 'decade of numbers'-- in those terms, I struggle with 'century of numbers'-- was so hard to get to 300-399 and now not too far from 200-299. Maybe I should try the decades approach and see how that works out.
    Keep pushing-- you'll get there!!

What about 2 meals a day rather than three, or not eating snacks after supper.

I'm not suggesting cutting calories, I'm suggesting a shorting eating window of time. Like brunch at 10:30 if you aren't hungry at 8 am.
