I see that my last blog was 7/20/20. Whoa....that's quite some time. I've thought about blogging in that time, just to set my thoughts over the past year down on paper somewhere, but this is the first time that I have sat down to specifically do that.
I'm blogging today to have my activity level recorded somewhere. Ten years ago, I was walking 10K most days, I did a few 5Ks, and had found my goal weight. I'm proud of that effort.
I'm just as proud of making it through the ten years since then. As usually happens as we go through life, I have had some hard things. I believe I am as special as everyone else, and like a lot of people, my fitness level dropped off. So did my attention to portion sizes. I've had periods where I would drop a few pounds. I've had periods where I would attempt to walk some again.
So...I'm just starting where I am today, and trying to be mindful of water intake, portion sizes, and making more effort to move. I managed screen shots of my iphone app that records steps.
