Proof to myself that weight regain does not have to remain. Just because we put some weight back on, it doesn’t mean it’s the end and we have failed and we are failures. Don’t give up.

Healthy habits are hard to pick up again and again and again, but maybe that’s because we have been trying the same old healthy habits for too long or perhaps healthy habits that do not fit us in particular.

For example, I really got in a slump after 2013. Things just became much harder with depression, the ongoing battle to lose since 2006, orthopedic surgeries and more orthopedic surgeries. Soon I felt like I was doomed. But I kept telling myself that my healthy habits will win eventually.

They did. They kept me from gaining all my weight back. They also kept me wondering what more could I do to go further and start losing again.

The new healthy habit that caught my interest was virtual walking on yes.fit

Anyway, I found some new healthy habits to motivate me, as in biking on my desk cycle and walking. I also try to eat more fruits and veggies and drink more ice water now. Sleep has become a very important focus for weight loss.
