Resetting My Starting Line

Sometime last week, I came to the realization that I was frustrating myself by trying to get back to where I left off on my journey. The more I tried, the more frustrated I became, and then the more I would stress eat sugary carbs - my trigger food.
All of a sudden I got an epiphany last week. Since I keep spreadsheets to keep myself motivated, I went back and looked at the ones from the beginning of this journey. I decided I would start with the goals I had set way back then.
I got on the scale, got a true honest reading, then set my NEW starting line.
You know what, this week I lost 2 pounds! And I feel like I really lost those pounds - I feel like this time, my scale is telling me the truth.
My goal for March is still to move more. I am walking or doing Yoga 6 days per week and am feeling great.
Sometimes, you just feel like starting over! And it's a good thing.
