A Blog of Randomness

Monday, March 29, 2021

I woke up this morning feeling worlds better. I worked out for 30 minutes and have been pretty much active since. I closed out my workout ring on my Apple watch and almost have my stand time ring closed out. Just need to work on my calories ring and I'm done.

I seriously thought today was Sunday emoticon Until around noon when I realized it was Monday. My kids are on spring break. Duh. I should have remembered emoticon

I have still yet to get the Covid vaccine. Now, I read someone's blog earlier saying that the vaccine made them get the Covid virus. This is NOT, I repeat, NOT possible. None of the COVID-19 vaccines contain the live virus that causes COVID-19 so a COVID-19 vaccine cannot make you sick with COVID-19. To the person that claims to be sick with Covid from the shot, quit lying and do NOT stop people from getting the vaccine.

I'm glad you are feeling better and thank you for calling out that big lie.

Our area vax rate is only 45% with hundreds of doses going unused. Denial and conspiracy theories are strong around here. I hope the doses will be redirected to other areas.

I've gotten both my vaccinations. Except for soreness at the injection sight, I did not have any side effects. It was all good. Hope your able to get your vaccinations soon. Take care and be safe!!!

Glad to hear you are finally feeling better. Hubby and I both had our first shots almost two weeks ago and had no reactions at all. Second shots are due April 12 and we have been warned of a 24-hour flu type reaction, but to plan on it and know it will go away in one day. But it's a normal immune system reaction and a healthy one at that. I'll keep you posted.
