I finally established a short-term goal, a 6 month goal, and final goal. For my short-term goal I will lose 14 pounds by June 1, 2021. This is 5% of my body weight by my birthday. My 6 month goal is to be at 224 by October 6, 2021. This will be a loss of 45 pounds in 6 months. This equates to an average of 2 pounds per week rounded down to offset weeks I may not lose as much. Finally, my ultimate goal is to reach my goal weight of 180 by August 6, 2022, which will be a total loss of 89 pounds in 16 months. I know there will be plateaus & stumbling blocks along the way, so I chose a date a little farther out. I feel like these are reasonable achievable goals, but if anyone has suggestions feel free to offer your input.
