I'm back on a roll - it feels like after so many years this is time I will achieve my goal in earnest. I've lost some weight this year and somehow didn't regain it all back which I normally do - so maintenance wise - during the struggle time of moving house etc I haven't put it all back on so I was careful and conscious enough not to let that happen.
Now I feel like I'll be able to do it.
I'm using some golden strategies that always come in handy:
1. end of day reward...sets me straight - a promise that at the end of the day if I stick to my calories and portions/whatever I can have a treat for 200 calories, no matter what it is.
2. Eating slowly and drinking water before a meal
3. Exercising for fun
4. Prepared meals in advance - frozen or otherwise. Convenience is key.
5. Variety to keep it interesting.
So far so good.
