Nutrisystem Doesn't Taste Bad After All!

Welp, here I go....again. I didn't do well during the pandemic. I have PTSD from a lot of traumas in life. Very long story short, work was a horror show until about December. 50 plus hours weekly. Having to be on call and available every couple weeks when most people had 6 weeks off between on calls. It was just horrible. Things are getting better now. My hours are much more reasonable and I'm being strict about only being on call every 6 weeks. New position also has a lot less support and more project work which was my goal. That is going to help tremendously with stress.
Unfortunately the long term PTSD issues I have alongside my severe work burnout has made eating/making healthy life choices very hard. I don't have the mental bandwidth to do much more than work and possibly school work. Anything else I just can't mentally do. This isn't a physical exhaustion as much as it is a mental exhaustion. Thanks to that, I've decided to do Nutrisystem. I'm not using their "system" but more just using their food instead of cooking. I know how to add proteins and healthy carbs to meals. That isn't new to me. I just need to not cook for a while but still eat healthfully and regularly. For now, Nutrisystem works. It IS NOT my long term plan.
My long term plan is therapy. Lots of therarpy. I need to learn how to cope with stress better and also how to undo this mental fog I've created with burnout. I have to learn work/life boundaries better so I can do things after work and not be mentally exhausted. My hope is that once my mental fogginess is gone and my brain isn't mush after work, I can cook again. My goal, tentative, is too do my last month of Nutrisystem in July or August. The cost isn't a concern right now thanks to the promotion.
My hope short term (until August or September) is to lose the 30 pandemic lbs I put on plus maybe 20 more. I started this month so I figure about 10 lbs a month isn't horribly ambitious.
That's all I got for the day.
