One Month in

I totally lost my mojo in 2019. But I kept my weight under control until the pandemic. I, like so many others, put on considerable weight.

I find myself back where I was 5 years ago. 270# and miserable. So I'm back on Keto and working out. First day I did free weights killed my deltoids. I have a stationary bike on the way that both my mom and I can use. I'm trying to find the love of working out because this time, I want it to be permanent. And damn it, I want abs!

Oh and I'm down 15# in one month. Taking a victory lap!

    Definitely easing back into it. I started with walking and 3# free weights. Nothing strenuous but motivating. I have used SP off and on for 11 years so I've trod this path before. Multiple times.

    Mojo in this context would be motivation, joie de vivre, zest for life, thing that keeps you going. Hope that helps.

    Keep trying different things, and you should find one that is enjoyable to you as far as working out goes. And don't be afraid to try something a second, third or even fourth time, you never know when it will "click" and you will start to enjoy something that you didn't like at first.

    Also, ease back into it, killing yourself starting out may make you more resistant to keeping going!
