Have you ever felt too full to exercise?

Friday, May 21, 2021

We are a close bunch of friends who live in my senior apartment building.

3 of the girls went to a casino (Mystic Lake) Tuesday and two won big.

On also had gift cards and decided to treat us to lunch. We went to a pretty famous sports bar and grill that has amazing foor.

I got a slow roasted roast beef sandwich. It was on two slices of thick toast. In the center was a huge pile of masked potatoes. It was all covered with gravy. I got a side of cole slaw, too.

NO I DID NOT EAT IT ALL! The person who would do that was not with us...the Jolly Green Giant or Wisconsin's Paul Bunyan.

I have more that have left for supper, if I am even hungrey.

Since I don't go out that often, I felt the treat was ok. It may end up being the only meal I have today.

Oh, my drink was a huge glass of water.

As to this blog's title, I did feel too full to exercise. It's been about 3 hours now that I've been home. I did 15 minutes on my elliptical.

The weekend is coming...enjoy. If you treat yourself, be careful. You can make up a small treat with cutting back a bit for a couple days and upping your exercise. Personally, I don't recommend anyone deprive themselves completely with what they love. Hmm...w ell...there was my former mom-in-law who couldn't stop with one ice cream bar but had to eat the whole box.

I did it.... emoticon too!

Yes, I have felt to full/bloated to workout at times. It happens. I normally take an easy walk.

I’m mostly vegetarian but now and then I eat meat and find that it sits heavy in my stomach and is less than pleasant.

Good for you to limit yourself, imagine how you would have felt eating the whole thing?!? :-)

Wow! Sounds like a big sandwich! Good that you took lots of it home.

Definitely can't deprive yourself but have to watch your portions.

Lol! I do understand where you are coming from. Now that I’ve reached my Weight Watchers goal weight, in face I’m 10 lbs under, I do treat myself to a splurge once in awhile . I think the key is to get right back on your good eating plan the very next day! It sounds like you had an amazing and fun time! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
