How do you respond?

Friday, June 11, 2021

Good morning friends. Much better work day yesterday. The evening/morning #cko combo definitely helped. But man my arms ache..#tullytime threw in these crazy pushup things and my bicep muscles are still screaming this morning. Good stuff! 💪💪💪 Good food choices but not such great sleep last night. Excited to see Ryder...we're in the car now...don't worry I'm the passenger. So what's running through my mind you ask? It always amazes me how people see or read something and formulate their own opinions or read something that isn't there and it is so far off from where I am at. When I find myself puzzled by a comment, I roll my eyes as I try to determine if it was genuine concern or a passive-aggressive comment and decide whether to respond or ignore. More times than not I just ignore. What about you? What do you do? And do those comments trigger a reach for food response? Inquiring minds want to know... Have a fabulous Friday. Namaste .

I assume they didn’t mean it that way and ignore it.

I tend to believe that no one will deliberately try to hurt me by what they write in their comments.
So if they do leave a comment that hurts me,
I feel bad that they are hurting and say a little prayer for them that they may overcome their pain.
I believe that most people who intentionally hurt others are in pain themselves..
then there are those folks like me... who just manage to say the wrong thing at the right time to the wrong people and are totally unaware of the pain they leave in their wake. AND, I say a wee little prayer for them too. That they will not be the recipient of accidental (or intentional) hurtful words.
Prayer helps me release hurt and hopefully helps those I pray for, too!
sorry for the mini blog... (and this is the condensed version.)
Hugs, and I am smiling remembering back 2-weeks short of forever ago when I got to spend whole days with my grandson before he reached preschooler age and I was no longer needed. (he is in college now)
