Point Lost?

Saturday, June 19, 2021

All the moaning and groaning about losing community pages makes me wonder if a lot of members have lost sight of what SP was developed for To Learn To Develop a Healthy Lifestyle. It is nice to make friends along the way but that is not the be all and end all of SP. SP is also not a cult. Those members that are developing inner strength will continue whether with SP or not. I have lost quite a few long time friends through attrition (death) but I am not yet ready to join them. I don't know how this new program will be. Yes, I am concerned about corporate sponsorship but if I have a knee jerk reaction to it, I will be the loser. In SP any time I had a question it was answered. I am finding out that has not changed. If you have questions that need to be answered, ask. You have nothing to lose by asking and the answers may help keep you from flailing around, looking for another program. For me, I am finding that using both SP and S360 until 8/17 has eliminated a lot of my initial doubts and more programs are to be added as S360 improves. There are a lot of chats on S360 as my mailbox can attest. I can understand members being upset and wanting to lash out/wanting a shoulder to lean on but all is said and done, do what is right for YOU.

The odd thing about this is, the company was losing money for years, yet it never occurred to someone to charge a subscription fee…….

You are somewhat correct, in that the food logging and exercise components are the keys, but from what I see, SP have made wholesale changes to their approach and are really focusing on their corporate clients - to the detriment of all the people who are not on a subscription.
