Finally back in it

I haven't been doing much this summer, as far as exercise goes. Mainly because I didn't have the money to pay for my rec here on campus. I wasn't signed up for summer classes, so, I must pay, since I wasn't paying fees through tuition. Whatever.
Anyways, almost 2 weeks ago, I had bought a brand new bike. A real bike, not just a Wal-mart mountain bike. It's so much easier to ride the real bike. I sold my Wal-mart bike, since it no longer served the purpose I wanted it for now.
I feel great riding. Since July28th, I have put on the bike, nearly 100 miles. (I also bought a bike odometer/speedometer) Actually, when I ride to work today, one way, I'll reach 100 miles. I hope for many more multiples of 100 on this bike.
My fiance has lost about 47 pounds since the beginning of this year, mainly due to his biking, and change in eating habits. I've somewhat made the change, but fell back since I wasn't doing much this summer.
I think I've gained a few pounds since the beginning of the summer. But I don't have a scale at home, so I'm not completely sure where I'm at. Aside from my helmet purchase priority, a scale is another one at the top of the list. Although now, I think I'll be going through some weight gain, converting my flabby thighs into muscle. We'll see how it goes!
