Missed a day of blogging

Friday, October 05, 2007

Well so much for being on a streak! 2 of my challenges was to blog everyday. Well I usually wait till the evening after dinner to do so but yesterday was the season finale of Night Shift and then CSI. So after 7pm I wasn't on the computer. Wonder if this counts as bringing it down a day early (Huh, Nadine :D) I'll do another blog later on tonight to sort of make up for it.

Tried a sample pack of Curves cereal, Honey Crunch, wasn't bad but for calories and nutritional aspects I'll stick with my Kashi GoLean. After breakfast kept busy with canning tomatoes and almost forgot to eat lunch. DH had bought some 8 grain bread that wasn't bad but didn't have enough fiber in it for me so I wanted to munch all afternoon. But guess what I said NO and grabbed a bottle of water instead! Worked pretty good.

Dinner didn't go as planned either. Thought I had chicken breasts in the freezer but I looked in all 3 and couldn't find them! So I subbed some drumsticks that I found. I don't like dark meat much either so I didn't eat as much but afterwards I was still hungry so I made me some coffee to warm me up as it's starting to get down in low 40's at night now. Sometimes coffee eases the hunger pains and doesn't bother my sleep none.

Like mother like daughter huh? I missed yesterday as well....didn't have time and only got online for 10 mins. I liked the curves cereal but maybe I should try the Kashi Golean cereal again. i didn't like it in HS but maybe I will now. You sounded like you had a better day than me....you are on the right track. I need to lose some of this weight before you catch up with me......Love you mom!
