Just don't have the drive

I am getting depressed. I am totally lacking the drive to get my butt to the gym. I am literally dead tired with two babies and I just dont know how moms do it. I am in some serious need of motivation. I want so badly to improve the way I look, not only for myself but for my marriage as well. So I do have the will. I just cant seem to start.

    Hey Samantha! Start small! Don't let yourself get overwhelmed with the daunting task of getting into the gym to work out... start with just getting both kids in the stroller and going for a SHORT walk around the mall, the playground, or some place outdoors!

    I'll agree with what Brightbow said.. I DO feel a lot better physically AND emotionally since I started walking with my daughter. And I'm probably still a month or so out from actually being able to motivate myself into the actual GYM, but I DO feel better and have more energy with just a few short walks under my belt.

    Two kids is hard Samantha! If anyone ever asks me for advice I'm going to tell them two things... don't have two kids in two years if you can avoid it (ok so my MIL did say that to me...) and don't decide how many kids you're going to have until you have two. :)

    On a positive note, I am feeling so much better since I started exercising. It will help you have more energy I think. I was taking naps in the afternoon when I could, but since I've been exercising, it's more of a bonus if I do nap, not a need. I've been exercising while dd is still asleep and after the early morning feeding. I know from experience if I don't do it first thing, it won't be done at all.

    Hang in there with me... I think things will get easier.
