Pregnancy Update

Hi All! I thought I'd pop in here and post an update, since I haven't done so in ages :)

I'm currently in my 8th month of pregnancy ... 33.5 weeks and counting! Despite my efforts to continue eating well and exercising (which I have, and I do!) I've gained right around twenty pounds. Apparently my body decided it was gonna do it's own thing, no matter what I do to try and stop it lol. A healthy baby is what's most important, and she is just that as far as we can tell. Yep, that's right - SHE! I'm having another girl! Her name will be Maggie Marie :) (Due on March 8th, but I'm not-so-secretely hoping to have her on February 29th!)

As I said, I'm still eating lots of healthy food, keeping my nutrition on track, and I'm exercising five days most weeks, sometimes six. I've only been doing thirty minutes a day of light cardio lately, but it helps keep me in a routine. Sometimes I swim for a couple hours on Saturday afternoons with my family, which is nice and gives my back a break from carrying around this baby weight ;-)

So, anyway, as much as I'm enjoying this pregnancy and would like to stretch it out as long as possible, I'm also looking forward to getting back on the losing side of things in March. Until then, good luck and good sprits to all my spark friends, and thanks for checking in on me and baby Maggie!
