Greeting All. Chrissi from LaGrange, IL here. I signed up on SP many years ago, lost 20+ pounds, life happened and I put all of it back on and a few more. I didn't have a fitbit for about 3 years but now have an Inspire 2. Feels good to have a fitbit back. I am for 5000-6000 steps per day as my body allows me to. If I push too hard I end up out of commission for a day two. I've done it before, I can do it again. Cheers to a new start. Again. LOL

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist who focuses on Palliative/Hospice/End-of-Life Massage Therapy, I am a Hopsice Volunteer with Angels Grace Hospice who is hoping to get back to visiting people again soon, I am a member of Threshold Choir and excited to be able to start meeting in person with my chapter again after over a year, and I am an End-of-Life Planning Advocate (better known as a Death Doula) who helps people create their plans for their End-of-Life and what they do or do not want done in certain health situations.

I have been married to my hubby for 18 years (well, in September it'll be 18 years) and we've been together for 19 years (as of August anyway LOL). We have 2 teenage boys, ages 16 (will be 17 in September) and 14 (just turned in January). We also have a 3.5 year old Chihuahua/Lab mix rescue dog (his name is Lucky) who keeps me walking 2 - 3 times a day. I hope to someday get Lucky trained as a Therapy Dog because he is just the perfect size to visit people and actually hop up onto a bed or into a lap in a wheelchair.

I don't know what else to add at this point. :-) Want to learn more about me, feel free to visit my blog as I'm pretty open and honest there. I'm always up for new SparkFriends too.

I am starting again weighing 255 pounds as of today, May 18, 2021. I hope to make my way down to at least 200 pounds in as healthy of a way as possible. I don't really want to put a timeframe on it because this weight did not appear overnight, it will not go away overnight. If I were to say by the end of the year, if I were to lose about 3 pounds per month, I would lose about 21 pounds. That would start me off in 2022 at 234 pounds. I could live with that. I want to do this smart so what goes off finally stays off.

Looking forward to getting healthier day by day. :-)
