Hi everyone....Just joined this team and looking to get myself motivated to get back on the weight loss journey. Fell off the wagon for a while and gained weight and now I am miserable. So, here I am trying to do something about it and thought this team sounded great! emoticon

Hello Everyone!

I am new for the 4th time to Spark- but the first time I was successful and then just stopped because I was getting too many emails. But the 4th time is a charm and I'm ready to do this so MissMo and Pooh let's do it! I just did today's Quick Fire Challenge in my office. I went to www.pandora.com created a Salsa station and made todays move into my own rendition of a Salsa dance! Que divertida! The 100 went by so fast!

Hi, I guess I make team member 5,790 and I am very happy to have been invited to join this team. My name is Tony and I am a seriously morbidly obese male who has tried everything under the sky and in GOD's creation to drop this weight. It has been a battle since Grade 7. I have seen success but only for a short time. I have seen my failures too as I go about this journey over and over again. Not sure if I have any fight left in me as I fear I am slowly going down hill with each passing day. I currently weigh an astounding 594.5 lbs. I have run out of time and there are no excuses anymore just reasons to push on. But where do I get the strength?

I have some reading ahead of me I see from all the sticky notes.

Thanks again for the invite. I wish you all great success as each of you continue on with your personal journey. And I'm looking forward to meeting new friends in here too!

Oh thanks to all of u on this team, u r so positive and u want to get the job done, this is just the perfect time.
I just weighed and I have lost 2 lbs. I am back below the 4 lbs I had lost after joining sparks and now I have lost them again, here I go marching into the 170's on the scale, with your help. I have been on SP since November of 2008. It has been a boon of positivity and inspiration for me. I have recently had a minor battle with pneumonia, and I am looking for something to jumpstart me back to strength training and get me moving again in the right direction. I am very excited to start QuickFiring my day today, and start seeing some great results.

hey all i'm new to the group but not new to spark. i had lost 85 pounds before my wedding in may... fell off the wagon a bit and gained 25 back!! yikes... i caught it though and i'm back on track now. thought this would be a good way to change things up a bit! :)

Hi, I just found this team. I don't plan on doing every challenge for two reasons: 1) I like to have one day/week off from planned exercise (which doesn't mean I won't get any exercise, but it may just be doing household chores or walking to do out of house errands.) 2) A few years back, I underwent major abdominal surgery and had some of my abdominal muscles replaced with a synthetic mesh. That means that any core exercises that work the affected muscles are impossible for me to do, and I'll have to skip them.

I'll try to do the challenge six days/week though, assuming that the exercises are something I can do.

Hello! I'm Janelle! I was fired an email asking if I would like to join the QFC Team, I'm in! I'm a newlywed whose husband is deploying in October. hey everybody! names belinda from southern california, WAS in training for the US Army, injured my spine, got fat out of shape, n now im trying to get that body back! Used to do countless push-ups sit-ups n gawd knows i hate running but did that too. Now i wanna get back in that groove, also got carpal tunnel, yikes. It May slo me down but it surely wont be stopping me!
