Hey there everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I am a disabled member who will be modifying the lower body workouts accordingly. I'm looking forward to this challenge to kick start my year. The last 1/4 of 09 has been a challenge, as I have been struggling with staying on track.

I will be checking out the workouts as early as possible, so if you need lower body modifications spark mail me and I will let you know what I am doing for those days.

I have been a member of SP for years too. I even had a different profile which is still active. Well anyway I am tried of not "moving". Its one of the hardest things for me to do right now is exercising. I eat healthy and I cook healthy for my family of 5 but I can't seem to get "moving". So here I go!! I need and want to lose 35lbs and feel it. My hardest goal is tracking what I do and eat on the site. Much love and lets have fun "losing it". emoticon

emoticon Happy New Year from Southern Louisiana! It's a new year and time for new beginnings.....or just starting over. SparkPeople has made a huge, positive impact on my life in the last 6 months and I am excited to see what the next 6 months hold. Hi everyone. I have been on sparkpeople for three years with no real dedication. I will be 30 this year and I am ready to make a difference in my life. Tired of feeling defeated and stressed. I think this bootcamp will be the best motivation for the new year and staying on top of my goals this year which is to loose close to 90lbs. I know what to do it is just staying motivated to do it. I am glad to be apart of a group that is highly motivated to change and I look forward to reading success stories and posted some of my own as well!!

Hello! I have been a member of spark for some time now but not really followed through on everything. I will be 42 this year and really hoped to be fit, fabulous and 40 at one point. Not there yet but it is never too late. I don't mind exercising but have to work on diet...more portion size than anything...I like a lot of healthy foods. I gained a lot of weight after kids and due to stress (mostly marital to be honest). I still have the kids and I still have the marital stress but I want to take control of this area. I hope to lose 70lbs. This is the year!

Hi, I have been active on Spark for about 9 months, but I needed a kick in the pants - the Holidays and a recent ovarian cyst meant I couldn't excercise very often. This is not actually the best time for me to start a new routine, as my daughter gets a tonsilectomy monday, so I will be playing nursemaid until she recovers, but this is a desperate little effort to do something for ME!

I'm doing it this time. I've been up and down and up and down, depressed, fat and I'm tired of it. I just have to (my favorite Dory from Finding Nemo saying.) "Just keep swimming." I hope this forum keeps me motivated.

Hi Everyone. I am joining the bootcamp to get my body moving BACK in the right direction. I will be turning 40 in April and want to be 140 by then. Hi, I'm Blanda. I've been here at SP for ages, but fall off the wagon on a regular basis. I am determined this year to not be so flaky about my health. I'm dang close to 40 and need to start taking care of myself!

Hi

Just logged in this morning, and am looking forward to starting boot camp with you all....

I've completed the couch to 5k programme, and am still running - although not as much as I was because of the ice snow.... it was wind before xmas....

I've been less focused recently, but have been getting away with it - until the last week, so time to stop the rot now, and refocus, and get back to losing weight

Here's to a great 2010 and a smaller me!

Hi, this is my first time doing the bootcamp. I am also an avid walker and love yoga and like to do lots of different fitness activities. My work schedule has changed too, so I can devote more time to being active and losing those 15 lbs.

I agree with macysonya, I have to have a challenge. The winter wind in PA is sabotaging my good intentions. I'm an avid walker and the temperature doesn't keep me in but the wind does. Hoping bootcamp can take the place of a 5k daily walk.

Hi everyone! I thought I'd join this challenge hoping it will help me. I did not make a new year's resolution BUT I did make a goal. It took me 9 months to gain all this weight and if it takes me the whole year to lose it, so be it. Before I got pregnant with my daughter, I was fit and healthy. I let myself go using pregnancy as an excuse to eat what I wanted. I chose not to exercise-which made the weight pack on. I always ate what I wanted before I got pregnant but I exercised constantly. I think I was obsessed with exercising. Of course now that she is here, I'm so tired and exhausted all the time. On top of staying up with her until early hours in the morning, I also have a 5-year-old. Right now, I need all the help I can get.

Hi, I just joined today and I've spent my whole life losing weight and trying to remember to keep it off lol. One thing I know - be proud of yourself for losing that 15 pounds that's awesome. You should be telling yourself how great you are and really awesome you are going to be! Dont beat yourself up, it will only defeat you. You can do this....
