Hi there and welcome!! You have a great goal to work toward and you have come to a great place to help you toward that goal. Sounds like you are an active person and you have a great family to motivate and support you so that is wonderful. Check out the teams for different medical disorders and you may find one for you with people going through similar struggles to give you tips, motivation and support! I am currently a 230 pound female looking to lose over 50 pounds. I recently walked a half marathon with Team in Training and managed through 100 miles of training to GAIN five pounds. I am at my wit's end but I have heard that others have had success through online communities. I love my friends, family, and husband. I do enjoy walking and being outside as well as inside at the movies. I struggle with a medical disorder that requires medication which does not help weight loss. I look forward to meeting all of you!
