My name is Tiffany. I'm 24 years old and have always been overweight. In recent years, with the stress of working full time and going to graduate school, my weight has topped out at 240lbs! I've tried dieting in the past and have had success a few times (never getting to a "healthy" weight, but dipping down into the "overweight" range of the BMI scale) but have always gained weight back. I've finally gotten to the point where I want to make a serious commitment to a lifestyle change! I want to be more active, exercise daily, have more energy, etc.

I'm a little shy about telling people in my life about this decision, because they've heard this all before. I feel like I say I'm planning on dieting, I'll follow the diet for a few weeks and then just give up, so it makes me think people in my life wouldn't take me seriously when I say I'm committed to a new lifestyle. I'd like to get support online through these forums, and then when my friends and family notice the changes in my body, my attitude, etc. I will let them in on my little secret :)

I look forward to joining this journey with all of you!
