Stress makes me eat things I ordinarily wouldn't eat. This week has been unusual. Hang in there. You're doing the right thing, coming here and getting encouragement.

Get better soon! I find that even the comfort given by comfort foods is very short-lived, and it doesn't do anything about the origin of the stress!! I try to consciously bring this to mind when under pressure and it works most of the time!! I think re-reading to refresh and motivate is certainly the way to go. emoticon

Glad you are feeing better. Don't worry we all have slips. The main thing is to get back on the program as quickly as you can and it sounds like you have done that. emoticon

Here I am reading & renewing myself with our group posts. I had difficulty with unexpected stress last week & old patterns emerged. I ate a few old foods & then got good & sick. I missed a day & a half of work & still don't feel well but desperately want to only eat nutritarian diet period. It has to be simple today. I had half a small avocado & an apple for breakfast & will likely have mashed cauliflour & steamed beets for lunch. Maybe some tofu & mushrooms if up to it. Can't face the beans yet Hopefully by supper. So next time stress smacks me I need to hang on tight to eating healthy & likely avoid getting sick Sigh!
