I am definately a big picture kind of girl! But that mentality is what got me where I was when I started my journey with SparkPeople. I am continually learning that I do so much better if I set small attainable goals and try to meet them first. Its hard to overcome my "all or nothing" frame of mind and perfectionist needs but I am getting there a little bit at a time.

I have to focus on the small, daily goals. If I think about the large goal too much I get discouraged that I will never get there.

I too find it easier to focus on small goals and work towards them. I also do keep the my big goals in mind.

I'm similiar to Amber. I have a large goal, but I find I'm more successful when I focus on getting to the smaller goals, whether its a food, exercise or anything in between.

Morning all! Q time! I hope you all are ready, lol!! Okay, how do you set your goals? Do you have a big goal that you focus on or do you break it up into smaller goals that work toward your big goal?

For me, I always find having a "big picture" in mind but setting smaller goals to work toward them helps a lot.

Have a great day guys!!
