You can try adding low volume, calorie/nutrient dense snacks, like a hard boiled egg, unsalted peanuts/walnuts/almonds or some cheese and a couple crackers.

I used to follow spark people religiously and then it made me unhappy. I was eating food I didn't enjoy every much and beating myself up when I went over my calories and when I binged.

Then I decided to take a break and stop doing that and just do what felt natural. I lost 4lbs. and then another 2. I think it is important to make sure you get enough calories. Not only will your metabolism possibly slow down and that could sabotage you when you do up the calories. But you might lose muscle because you don't haev enough calories to feed them all and since muscles are your bodies biggest fat burners you DO NOT want to have your body burn them because it doesn't have enough calories to feed itself. Then if you stop your diet after losing too much muscle you will have to cut your calories EVEN MORE because you have lost the muscle and so in order to see the same results you have to cut more calories. It is a pitfall alot of people fall into. And the last thing you want to do is starve yourself. It will just send you into yo-yo dieting.

I personally think it is best to eat well and exercise and lose slowly. When you have alot to lose like I do you want to give your body enough time to recover as you go. The last thing I want to do is lose 90lbs too fast and have hanging skin all over the place because I lost the weight too fast.

this happens so much more than you'd think! i still miss the mark sometimes, but not by enough to concern me..

i used the meal tracker too, but i just don't like my recommended meals, so i only look at the planner for ideas, otherwise, i just eat what i want and see how it pans out.

this link should help a lot. good luck!

Ok so I've been following the eating plan for about a week now substituting what I like to eat and what I have handy to eat. I track my food religiously and I realize I'm not eating enough calories. I'm not really sure what to do. Minimum i should eat 1300 calories and im lucky if I hit 1000 a day. I got excited because I was losing weight but I dont want my metabolism to slow down. Also even when I eat my meals I dont feel hungry when I'm finished so should I eat more? (honestly I'm hungry around the 3 pm hour) so I decided thats when I'll sneak my snack in but when I get home and work out then make dinner I'll eat my portion and be done. Tonight I couldnt even finish my dinner. I'm so confused. what should i do?
