My healthy success today was to eat a small supper of cottage cheese and tea because I wasn't hungry, and I decided to listen to my body instead simply eat more because it was dinner time.

A good breakfast: whole grain cereal with fruits and nuts.

Way to make good choices replenishing yourself. As a member of a different team wrote the other day, fuel your body, don't just feed it. A good reminder.

I have been rather moody lately and sometimes I am good with my exercises and diet and other times, well....we all have those "other" times. My healthy success today was even though I didn't feel well, I managed to deal with my moodiness by getting up and dancing to videos off of YouTube of people dancing bachata which is a latin dance originally from the Dominican Republic. It is a least a start. I would like to get more exercise in but 26 min worth of dancing is better than nothing. Yay me!

I spent 3 hours shoveling an icy mix yesterday and 2 hours shoveling snow the day before. I would come inside hungry enough to eat anything in sight. I stayed focused and replenished myself with healthy choices, including lots of fruits and vegetables.

My healthy success today was taking the time to accurate measuring my portions and note them in my food tracker. I also successfully completed my first day of ChaLEAN Extreme. Lots of self-education and pre-measurements involved before even starting the videos, but I did everything I needed to do to prepare myself and I also got through the first exercise video successfully. I am proud of myself for following through and starting the program instead of just ordering the videos and watching them collect dust.

My healthy success was choosing to feed my husband a store-bought, 5-veggie, thin-crust, frozen pizza and top it with olives instead of going out for fast food. I wasn't going to be cooking the night before my birthday but I at least wanted us to eat something somewhat healthy. I don't know if being veggie was part of the reason or thin crust having less dough, but it also was much lower in calories than a lot the other ones that had some sort of meat in them so I admittedly succeeded in looking into that, too, and making an educated choice in pizza.

My success today was order a SKINNY Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks (140 cal only) instead of some of the other, higher cal options. Had to warm up after walking so much out in that cold, snowy weather. Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!

My successes today were braving the cold weather and 40-50 mph wind in order to go to the supermarket to buy fresh produce to make soup and exercising to a Turbo Jam video that I have been meaning to start exercising to for a long time.
