This great man called Priest Babaka of babaka.wolf@gmail.com helped me with a pregnancy spell. i have been married for the past 9year without a child i and my husband has went for many check up but the Doctors always bring positive result that we are okay, we have been hoping that we will get bless one day but every day just look the same i always touch my stomach but nothing happens. I started doing low amylose last week. I have lost 12 lbs.

I haven't counted a single calorie!

I lost 50 lbs here on spark back in end of 2009/ beginning of 2010 by working out and counting calories and it was a daily struggle. Come to find out, like you all said, carbs are practically the enemy of PCOS.

I have started something new in the last few weeks and wanted to share with all of you, because it seems to be working. A friend of mine was able to lose a significant amount of weight by following the carb cycle diet plan made by Chris Powell. I started this same diet 2 weeks ago, and I am down 2 pounds and have lost 2 inches from my waist. Here is the basic diet plan. On monday, you eat a healthy diet of 5 meals a day. Each meal should consist of a lean protein and a carbohydrate ( fruit, whole grain bread, rice, ect. but no sugar, or anything made with white flour). Drink a gallon of water a day. Tuesday, eat a breakfast of a carbohydrate and protein, then the next 4 meals of the day should be only lean protein and veggies. Drink your gallon of water. Alternate the meal plan for monday and tuesday, every other day. Once a week allow yourself a free day, to eat the junk food that you like. Or, if not having a treat each day is too difficult, give yourself a cheat meal on your high carb day, that cheat meal cannot be at dinner if this is the avenue you choose, and you cannot have a "free day". Work out everyday for a minimum of 30 minutes. 3 days a week to a ten minute circuit of sit ups, push ups, and squats. This is pretty much the simplified version of his diet/ exercise plan. I have been able to finally break through a stall in my weight loss by following this plan, so I thought it was worth sharing. Have a lovely day all!

Awesome job for not allowing PCOS to get the better of you. I think by cutting out sugar and refined carbs, you will have success. The sugar is the hard one for me to get rid of. Good luck!

I've heard several times to do well with PCOS is to cut carbs. I will admit it's hard; however with will power and determination it can be done. Today I've decided to take control of my life and stop letting PCOS get the best of me.

Thanks for sharing dimplespitt! I got pregnant after following a lower carb diet, and limiting my sugar intake. I also lost about 10% of my weight, which possibly contributed to my being able to conceive.

I got pregnant while on weight watchers. I think a low carb diet would work well since there is a connection with pcos and insulin resistance.
