This is the first post I've read in this team because I just joined. It was interesting to get an idea of what I'm in for. I ordered the book from Barnes & Noble and got it yesterday and started reading. Of all the teams I've joined on sp, I have a feeling this team may make my life start happening in the way I've dreamed of. Thanks for sharing your week and let that hope expand in your heart!

I'm wrapping up early this week. I found week 6 to not be my best week. I resist the counting exercise with every fiber of my being. LOL. I did my MP's 5 out of 7. Artist's date and lots of time on my collage project which will be coming to completion soon and yes I will take pics. I emptied out my closet and drawers and got rid of half of it. It felt very good. I have put my resume up for jobs and got some responses though some were bogus and not what I wanted. Oh well. Somewhere, something is out there perfect for me at this time and is about to be discovered. I find myself praying a lot in my MP's as well as directly addressing the Great Creator and airing my grievances. LOL. GC can take it.

1) How many days this week did you do your morning pages? (have you used them yet to think about creative luxury for yourself?) How was the experience for you?
5/7. I use them to either make more things to do, whine or pray. Love hate relationship with my MP's this week.
2) Did you do your artist date this week? (have you considered allowing yourself two?) What did you do? How did it feel?
I've been doing long artist dates on Saturday. I give myself the luxury of time on Saturday mornings to do the exercises and work on my vision collage project. I spent ALL day on Saturday on this and enjoyed most of it but it was tiring to not have time to just veg. I did some more on Sunday and then last night just vegged and watched movies! It felt good to relax for a little.
3) Did you experience any synchronicity this week? What was it?
Is there such a thing as opposite synchronicity? It wasn't a great week for that. I will try to stay open. My faith and trust is somewhat shattered this week.
4) Were there any other issues this week that you consider significant for your recovery? Describe them.
Cleaning out my closet felt great! I have really needed to just let a lot of things go. I now have a large pile of clothes that need to be mended in someway or taken in, etc. and on further reflection I am thinking I should just let those go too. I don't need that list of things to do right now. By the time I alter them, I will probably need to alter them again. At least, I hope. Besides I have an entired closet full of material to make new clothes waiting for me in my basement so do I really need more.... Let it go.

My next project is the pictures. I am ready to start scanning, digitalizing and organizing my pics.

I made a nice soup on Friday night and there is something very well-filling about making a soup.

I am battling some depression these days. Maybe it's not being as physically active with yoga, maybe it's money, maybe it's that my husband is busy most nights, maybe it's that lots of stuff is bubbling up, maybe it's that state unemployment will end soon and I've got to find $400/wk sooner rather than later, maybe it's the holidays coming up and the view seem grim for celebration. Whatever the reason, here I am, I am still keeping on keeping on and just a little hope left in my heart that things will at least improve somehow, someway. :)

I celebrate all the good work I've done. Too often I let these milestones go uncelebrated.
