Hey, glad you think it's worth looking into!.....personally, I've always been more motivated by games than practicality. But on HabitRPG the game helps me do the practical, boring things I would normally forget to do because they aren't interesting enough to hold my attention for very long, otherwise. emoticon

The graphics aren't spectacular but they are reminiscent of the original Legend of Zelda game so that makes it fun for those of us who are old enough to remember it.

Also, on the RPG site I came across a program suggested in their ADHD group for time tracking on pc rather than phone--I haven't downloaded it, myself, but thought maybe it would be worth looking into for those who spend a lot of time on their pc.

It's called Grindstone--it's free to download but is only available for a Windows operating system--sorry, no OS X or Linux.

I looked up the link. It is very interesting. I don't have a smart phone so I cannot apply the app, unfortunately. However, I do like this and want to review it more. emoticon

I just thought I'd put this out there....for other people like me who maybe need something extra to stay interested in mundane tasks and to gauge time.

habitrpg.com/ Website and also app--website more in-depth but if you're rarely on a pc, as I am, the app comes in handy. (both free unless you want premium stuff like backgrounds for your avatar)
A task RPG game--involves characters that get silver, gold for tasks that they can use to buy "equipment", "pets", "potions", etc. Get into groups in order to take on a "boss" character. Makes daily chores more do-able--especially if you give the chores a creative, story-like name--ex. instead of "do the dishes" say instead "Conquer the mighty waves of Grimea"--much more to the game but that's the gist--(the site is *not* for children--they haven't put in parental filters yet)

And

itunes.apple.com/us/app/atime

Great time tracker--also has a remind function if you tend to forget to log time.
