We are having a get together and I am very nervous I will cave in. My family is not very supportive of the new life change I have made, so of course the food is not the wisest choices for me. I have few things on hand for to me eat, but I know my family will start giving me a hard time when I do not eat the things that they call the good stuff.

Not watching it. May click over and see if I get lucky enough to catch the commercials. That is the only reason my husband watches but he is out of town.
Going for a 5.50 mile walk at 3pm of so.

i have no interest in football whatsoever and thankfully for me, neither does my husband (only really follows hockey). so while i have gone to superbowl parties in the past and overindulged, i do not feel inclined to do so tomorrow. instead, we will go househunting. hopefully everyone else will be caught up watching the game that there will not be too many people checkin' out our potential future home!

We're going over to a friend's house for a superbowl party. Plenty of temptation will be all around. But I will do my best to eat all the good stuff and avoid the bad (If there is any good stuff!) emoticon

I'm going to be paying devout attention! I've invited my ex to bring our son (who's disabled), but I don't know if they'll come (ex hates football -- go figure). I'll probably order a pizza, I don't know yet.

Several of my daughter's friends are either vegetarian or vegan so I have several plans each time until I know who is/isn't coming over (she hates football and often invites someone over to keep her company while we loonies watch the game).

Wow, thanks for the topic. I've been wanting to have people over and do what I have done which is to put out a spread. We usually celebrate our anniversary on Superbowl Sunday. This year, because I'm beginning my new life, we will be just the two of us. We have both gone on a lemonade fast for cleansing before we begin the new food plan. It really is just another day, but fun we will have. By this time next year I will have created some favorite foods that fit the plan and be sure to drink lots of water and tea so I'm not empty.

I have found too many times in the past that when I go to a party, I overeat, so I will be doing what I always do now...laundry, cooking, cleaning, paying bills, clean the kitty litter, going for a walk, taking my trash to the dump, etc. I will have the game on while I am working around the house, but I won't sit down and watch it since my Steelers aren't in it this year...lol! It may sound boring, but at least I won't be 3 pounds heavier the next day. Good luck finding something to keep you busy.

Since it will just be my son and me on Sunday, it's easy for me to keep things simple and reasonably healthy. I'm going to do some oven baked chicken thighs, turkey chili and our indulgence will be some appetizers. Those will be the thing that has to be eaten very sparingly since they are made with refrigerated crescent rolls and ricotta cheese, maybe some spinach. But if I only make a small recipe, there won't be many to eat!

As the second or third holiday known for just chowing down and drinking, both things that go against a weight loss goal, I was wondering what everyone else is doing on Sunday? I am one that gives in very easily to tempation, so it's best if I stay away. I was hoping for some fun alternatives!
