MIKE758 I believe season 6 had a lot of people turned off. Those contestant were something else and so evil and foul mouth. Season 5 for me so far has been the best followed by Season 11.

I too wonder why BL didn't keep Brett and Cara. I loved them! They were awesome. I hope they reconsider this. Why even bring them to begin with if they weren't keepin them and than bringing 2 other ones. Not really feeling Anna.

I am not so sure about Anna as a trainer, but she has some harder contestants to work with. I saw a moment in the montage where she was having water aerobics-- I personalyl love water aerobics and it's good for hurting knees and other joints. It gives me hope for her :)

Bob is still sticking strong and I am lovin' that Ramon guys personality. New trainer guy makes me giggle-- the change between his "trainer voice" and normal speaking voice is quite drastic.

LOOKING FORWARD TO S12!

Why do we have Anna and Dolvett instead of Bret and what's her name? Why even give us four trainers if you weren't going to keep three of them? That's just my confusion speaking.

The good news is that I love, love, love Dolvett--and not just how he looks. He appears to have Bob's compassion and Jillian's toughness--a great combination. Now Anna? Just because she knows how to win Olympic medals and play tennis doesn't qualify her for being a trainer. Maybe it wasn't her fault that the blue team lost, but I don't think she would have gotten the same results if she'd had either the red or black teams. I don't think we need three trainers. Just give us Bob and Dolvett and we're good to go.

I know they've had seniors win the whole thing (Helen) and last a long time, but they were on teams with younger people that "saved" them until they got a bit more fit. I'm not sure any of the past seasons seniors would have lasted long enough had they been on a team with each other---with Anna as their trainer. And this bums me out because I'll be 61 in less than 2 months and I really wanted to see 60 somethings do well. It is so much harder to lose weight after 60 and the knees do hurt, but it can be done. I hope the blue team doesn't go the way of the red team last season!

I'm just curious because I'm so used to Bob being Blue Team. Why isn't Dolvett the Black Team? It doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but I like consistency!!!!

I agree that the lady that went home wanted to go home. Several times during her spots she said that being on the ranch was harder than anything she'd imagined. She quickly figured out that she couldn't cut it. She kept making excuses, wanting to stop and Anna wouldn't let her. She wanted to go home. There's no other explanation for picking a fight with Bonnie AND stating that she had support at home and a gym membership (neither of which she seemed to have used before). Maybe you don't know if you can hack it until you actually get there. I hear they work them out 5-6 hours straight in that gym which is a bit radical. But it seems a shame that others that really wanted to be there couldn't. Oh well.

Can't wait till next week. There seems to be a lot of conflict in the house this season.

Has anyone heard more about Sam's condition? Is he still in ICU?

Good start to the season, I like the new marathon for a spot in the finale twist! The jury is still out on Anna for me...she got the team with the least metabolism and most problems so I am not sure she is the culprit for that weight loss issue this week. I liked that she had tough love in the gym but was able to turn it off and be supportive outside the gym...Jillian bothered me in that aspect that she lacked compassion and when she tried it looked really fake. I love Dolvett...I think he is going to be a really good addition to the show having been a successful personal trainer.

I totally agree with you Russell! There was so much hype about Anna coming on the show, but the results weren't there. I don't want to blame Anna quite yet for those low numbers. I'm sure her team is hard to coach. But that's the job of a trainer to find what works for your team. I really am trying not to be disappointed in her. I'm going to try to give her another week.

Dolvett was just amazing. He really fits in at the ranch well. I hope they keep him. He seems to be approachable when he's not in "trainer" mode. I loved how he quickly figured out what was holding Patrick back and took it upon himself to fix it. I could see myself training under someone like that and wanting to give him everything I had. He really gave Bob a run for his money at weigh in. I think he has the easiest team to train, but the young team seems VERY out of shape!

I hope they switch up the trainers on each team every once in awhile. I really would like to see what Bob could do with that older bunch. Maybe it would make me feel better about Anna!

I wasn't sad to see Debbie go last night. I don't think she was ready for the ranch. She pulled a calculated move by attacking Bonnie. She knew that was going to send her home. I was kind of expecting it after she said she has a support system at home and a gym membership. The sad part is her support system must not be working for her, otherwise she wouldn't be were she was at. I hate when they waste spots on the ranch like that. I know there are so many people that would do anything for a spot on the ranch. And she just purposefully threw her's away!

A little too much crying for me, but thats what FF is for. Loved the weigh in. I think everyone will hate Anna..lol. She got the old team.. hope she doesnt' get all of them voted off. Not sure if she can coax enough pounds out of people with bad knees, and backs. It would be good to have a few people from each team when they get down to final 6. I think the middle team will be dominant, but will have some problems with week 2.

So far Bonnie is the only one I can't stand.

Good to hear season 12 is starting. I'll try and keep up with them given my head start. I also like setting up an excel spreadsheet and seeing who has lost the most overall.

I watched season 6 not so long ago (Biggest Loser Families), and it almost turned me off the show completely. Gosh there were some nasty, mean hearted contestants on that season. But season 7 and 8 were a lot better. I've still got to watch seasons 9, 10 and 11 which i'll be able to do wating for the new episode each week.

WOOT WOOT! I love BL. Today was kind of boring and I feel that Anna wasn't pushing them hard enough. But we will see what next week brings from previews it looks like a lot of drama hopefully in a constructive way. My birthday is in Dec. maybe I should do like you guys too and give myself some goal.

Long-term Goal: To overcome my hesitation and stay focused long enough no matter what happens in my life.

Medium-Term Goal: Reaching my goal 5% at a time.

I came here to read and post today thinking that it would be nice to finally not just watch the show but actually manage to do something about my weight :)

I'll miss Jillian, and I'm skeptical about what the heck Anna knows about how to help people lose weight..but we shall see!

Keeping my fingers crossed for a good season. I enjoy "meeting" the new people.

Excited by the new season...but bummed that I have to wait until tomorrow to catch it on hulu or nbc.com (whomever puts it up first!) :)

My birthday is 12 weeks from today.... I'm going to shoot for 1 lb /week loss (average) and wow.. that would put me almost out of the 180s. I really can't remember the last time I was *IN* the 180s, much less out of them.

I have watched every season, and I love it. Last year was the worst in my opinion though.

My birthday is exactly 17 weeks away, so I decided to weigh in before the BL each week, and lose 34 lbs.. that gets me to Onederland.

2:37 to go!

I like the Battle of the Ages .. go 30-49 er's!

ZAKURA where can you go check out old seasons? I love to watch season 5 all over again. I wish it would come out on DVD's.

I love Courtney too, I too follow her on FB.

I usually would record the show and watch later so I can skip the commercials. I HATE when they are at weigh-ins and start playing the suspense music in the background that get's your heart racing and than they leave you on cliff hanger till after commercials to than repeat the last 30 seconds before commercials and your heart is just about to explode from the suspense. LOL!

I am so excited for tonight's Premiere. I have so much to do today, but it's all planned around having uninterrupted time with my Bob Harper! I'm even doing my walk in the morning (once breakfast settles) so that I don't cut it close tonight after dinner!

My favorite season was 11 so far. It was nice to see determined people on there and a lot less game play. Courtney has been my biggest inspiration. I follow her on facebook and she is nothing but encouraging and helpful. She even emailed me a the grocery list from the ranch's food pantry!

This will be my second season watching BL, so I'm excited too! I hope it's good. I totally forgot about Jillian... I hope it's still good though. emoticon I tried watching the older seasons, season 1 first, and was a little disappointed. I'm glad they improved the game. I will go back to Season 5 and check it out I think now that it's mentioned... emoticon

I'll miss Jillian screaming and hollering. I will not miss her playing head doctor.(my opinion) I love her on the Doctors morning show.

Hard to believe this is the twelfth season and I am still obese. emoticon

I am so excited a new season is starting. I loved season 5 and season 11 wasn't so bad. I hope season 12 inspires me to push myself beyond the limits. What about you?
