My goal for the holiday season is go send the year how with a bang.
I want to end the year with as much weight loss desire I had at the beginning of the year.

End the year with a 10lb loss.

I am an intelligent person.
I will control my emotions and not let my emotions control me.

We need each other.

I will work to maintain good health, yet if a few more pounds drop, that's cool.

My holiday weight loss goal is to maintain. I weigh myself on Monday evenings, and tomorrow I am hoping to see the same number I saw last week, if not a smaller number. I then hope to loose a few more pounds before Christmas and New Years come upon us.

I guess other.

My only health issue is having epilepsy. There is nothing I can do about it except take medication to keep the seizures at bay, and it doesn't really impact my life other than that the medication makes weight loss very difficult, but that is a very mild side effect in the world of anti-convulsants.

On average, 7-8 hours on school nights, 9-10 on weekends. On rare nights when sleep eludes me, maybe 4-5 hours which is not enough to get through the day.

I had planned to go to the gym (riding my bike instead of driving) every day. Unfortunately, my mom had to have her hip replaced, so I went to Montana to help her instead. My workouts came from housecleaning and running all my kids and nephews around. Now that I am back in school, it seems like the gym is a distant goal. Between my teaching, classes for my Master's and my children's activities, I don't have time for me.

Changing the only thing I can control...

I am not big on dressing myself up for Halloween. There are no Halloween parties in my future. We have Pajama Day in our class on Halloween (this way the kids still get to dress up in something at school.

DH and I will be taking DD to our friends' house for dinner and trick-or-treating with their kids.
