Fly Lady says the most important thing we can do for ourselves is get good sleep. Since I started going to bed early I awake earlier with a clear mind and renewed energy for any planning or activity each day. There is a new zest and purpose in life.

As far as organizing/cleaning/decluttering what habit has improved your life the most?

I think for me it was learning Flylady's shiny sink process. I used to somewhat frequently leave dishes to 'soak' over night - and then be faced with a rank, sink-full of ugliness first thing in the morning. After learning the 'shine your sink' mantra I did her babysteps for 30 days and really locked that habit into my life. I think I *may* have left a dish overnight a couple of times in the last several years. It's so much nicer to start the morning without having to face yesterday's 'leftovers'. It's not a huge thing but it really brings more peace to my life. Now I just need to get all the rest of her ideas put to use in my home, lol.
