I use the liquid egg substitute with liquid egg whites to make omelets. I alternate that with real eggs.

Just so you know, you don't have to limit yourself to just egg whites. They don't taste as good by themselves. If you look later on in the sample menus, you're allowed whole eggs - the whites are just a better choice for people with high cholesterol. The way me and my dad see it is that if it's in the sample menu, you can have it any day - so for C1D1, I said no way to the egg whites and enjoyed regular scrambled eggs (without added milk or anything, of course!)

You can buy scrambled eggs in the style of eggbeaters that are just egg whites - makes easy omelets. I stir-fry some veggies, then pour in the eggs and it's yummy.

I know this is a late reply but if you are trying to just eat egg whites, a neat trick is to hard boil regular eggs and then just cut in half and trash the yolk part. No mess in the frying pan and a new finger food.

I can't believe I am down over 70 pounds since last year!

I ate a lot of eggs in cycle 1. They are low-cal and a great protein. I would boil half a dozen and keep them in the fridge for snacks. Sometimes I mix them with a little low-fat mayo for egg salad and add that to my green salad. I love eggs, so this was easy for me.

One of the ways I use egg whites was just to add them to a real egg so you are having 1 yolk and many whites. And yes, mixing it with veggies helps; spinach, tomatoes, peppers.

You can use plain eggs. I purchased a spray bottle that you can fill your desired dressing, oil, etc and uses air as a natural aerosol. I spray with light olive oil and add light feta cheese to my egg whites. It's quite yummy.

Yes they sure do stick to the pan. I spay pam in. I also saute up spinach, onions, tomatoes, onions and mix it all together. I sprinkle garlic powder, oraganio and pepper. It is quite tasty...

Hey everyone, I have yet another question.(lol) I am in stage 1 and purchased some of the plain egg whites in a carton... needless to say they were hard to fry sticking really bad and I didn't like the taste either. I was curious if I could use egg beaters or just plain eggs? I know that egg whites are a better choice but wondered if any of you had the same problem and was using the whole egg or egg beaters and if you where still doing ok on the plan? Thanks for all of your help!! I really appreciate everyone helping me out until i get the book in the mail. Take care emoticon ...Bailey
