What a wonderful feeling! You're going ot have such a good time at the barbecue, and feeling that dress sliding smoothly over your leaner body is going to help you make good decisions.

Isn't that the BEST feeling? Sure wish we could bottle it and take it out when our motivation is low...

I'd probably go with a small beef burger - depending on how lean it is and definitely without the bun. emoticon But that's me...I prefer a beef burger over a veggie burger any day! Cycle 2 was the hardest one for me...even though I got my alternating days right - I think I may have experimented with foods at the wrong time throughout the day. I still lost 3 pounds in that cycle, but did better on cycles 1 and 3.

Have a wonderful time - and think of spending more time hanging out with friends talking rather than an event to eat. It's the little "mind changes" that will help make events like this survivable. The last thing you want is to feel bad about your choices the next day. Remember - you CAN do it!! You are seeing the signs of your efforts and can wear a wonderful dress for this night out with friends! YAY!!!

I'm thinking it'll be hamburgers and hot dogs here - and my friend who is hosting has not eaten many carbs in a long time so I know there will be a lot of veggies and dip and fruit...One question if anyone knows - am I better off with a veggie burger or a beef hamburger (without the bun of course)? Veggie burgers can be loaded with carbs and sugar so I am thinking I might actually be better with a beef one (I am in cycle 2).

How wonderful!

Stay safe and conscious of the foods you eat at the BarBQ - and don't feel too bad if you have any "bloated" affects afterwards. I know BarBQ here in Texas is LOADED with sodium. I can bloat up 7 pounds overnight if I have BarBQ at dinner. emoticon stick with turkey or chicken (skinless of course!) and pile on the veggies! YUM!!

Just remember - YOU LOOK FABULOUS! and have a wonderful time!! emoticon emoticon

I woke up this morning feeling thinner. The scale is not down but I decided to pull out a dress I bought a couple of months ago, but was really too tight to wear anywhere that I would have to sit down.

I pulled it off the hanger and it seemed...big. It has a zipper but it's a teeny zipper that gets caught a lot, so I thought "Why not try to pull it over my head?" (I could not have done this before - it was snug as a sausage) Not only did it fit, but it was loose! And it looks awesome on me! OMG! I'm going to rock it on Saturday to a BBQ. I am so excited - until now I was too afraid to pull out too much of my old clothes to see what fit, but maybe I'll have to do that soon!
