Just seen this.....sorry.

I'm still using the free version, if I would've seen the one time payment of $30 I would've done that because of the ad's but it's not worth $5 a month to me.

I use the App on my tablet and when I'm in a hurry or not close to my compute., I love it because it let's me track food, exercise & water and I can read my friend feed. However, I can't catch up with my SP friends or teams using the App, which kinda sucks. I have to be on the site and logged in for that.

I should download the App to my phone to check it out and see how comparable it is to my tablet :-)

Hope this helps answer some of your questions.

I don't use my phone to Spark, but I did upgrade to the paid for program when it was 30$ for life. no ads, unless I'm in the recipe site (which I rarely go to), so that part is great!

I do have my fitbit connected to Spark so I don't log fitness minutes, it does that for me.

That said, I mostly use the site to track my ongoing goals, and to catch up with my SparkFriends!

So Question about Spark People APP:

1. Are you using Free Version?
If not what are the upgrades.. benefits to paid?

2. Do you use phone APP for tracking food/water intake? My phone is not letting me track water only food on the site I am using. I don’t think that it’s the official Phone APP for tracking.

3. Do you use a Fitbit with FB to track time exercising steps of miles?

I have been on Spark People (on and off) for many years but things seem different now in reference to tracking. Perhaps I’m not on the right thing to track on my phone. My computer is just worn out. It had been through two graduate programs and think it has just had enough!!!

All of the Ads on the free Spark People version on my computer emoticon just drive it crazy. I need something that is easily accessible. It used to be that SparkPeople Free APP included a barcode scan that would generally be able to give you calories and nutritional value without having to do input it in yourself.
