I have to go on a day to day account. I each AM check the weather changle & as long as heat index is below 70f or the temp is below 80f then its safe other than that I have to be careful. Now I could go a certian distance to the local pool/beach & not be affected

Summer is not as good a time for me as it is for this rest of you. I have to be more careful I don't OVERHEAT because If I OVERHEAT I will have problems with my EPILEPSY because the HEAT tends to TRIGGER my SEIZURES so I have to stay cool to beable to enjoy the summer

Ha, you and me, Ken. More strength training is definitely on my schedule for summer.

Hey John,

Glad to hear you have been doing so well.

Right now I'm sitting in the Plastic Surgeons's waiting room waiting to get the staples and drains removed following abdominal surgery to remove my apron after losing 207 lbs. as a member of SparkPeople. I guess you could say the program does work, after all look at what you have accomplished and see what I have done and have planned for the future

We are so fortunate that we have this wonderful organization of caring people who have come together for a common cause. I am confident that individually we could not have accomplished the huge achievements that we have and that as a group our success rate must be higher.

As I look forward with anticipation, I am confident that I will achieve and surpass all of my goals.

Stay Healthy and Stay In Touch

Stay Healthy and Stay In Touch,

I Can Go The Distance,
The Goal Is In Sight.

Can you believe that Spring is already halfway over? And that means Summer is right around the corner.

I've been running like a fool, finishing eight half marathons in 2012... so far. And Sunday is my second full marathon, Pasadena.

So... what have YOU been doing and how are you preparing for the warm (and shirtless) days of Summer?
