Wow, no replies since August 2012... guess I better write something. I actually did exercise today! It wasn't much but for me, anything is better than nothing at all. Went to sign my kids up for the summer reading program at the Southeast Regional Library, which is a great program! That library, if you haven't been there, is adjacent to some BEAUTIFUL walking paths in the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. Not sure what a loop around that place is distance wise, but we love walking it and taking in the sights! emoticon

did 2 and a half miles tonight with dad...he is building up to doing 4 miles...he did 4 the first night with me and it was too much for him so when I go with him I only do 2 miles...I did clean the bathrooms and mop the floors today too does that count LOL

did a 3 mile walk last night in 99 degree heat, it wasn't so bad since the sun wasn't right over my head...tonight I plan to do 4 miles.

2 1/2 hours of p.t. found out today that I have tendinitis in my hamstring. luckily I don't have to go slower outside but I will take out a few exercises at p.t.

tabatas today!!! I was happy to see that on the board.

4 times each
mb burpees
me squats
mb sit ups
push-ups
burpees
leg lifts
end with 30 sec rounds or jump ropes 30-40-50-60-70-80 If you finish in 30 seconds you get a break if not just keep jumping.

cool down 1 hour of karate

going walking the canal with my dad tonight...he is trying to lose a few pounds and get back into exercising regularly again.
He is a superfast walker so this will be a good challenge for me keeping up with him!

Planning to hike up camelback mountain echo trail. Hiked it on Friday and it took me an hour to get to the top with several breaks (it's a steep climb). I'd like to knock 10 minutes off the ascent. Hopefully I can find a place to park.

I spent about 2 hours weeding the morning...now the yard is half done and I am sore...I was still sore this morning from weeding on Sunday and my fingers are all cut...need new weeding gloves.

Crosspit today was a nice one to start back with.
30 sec 3x
squats/ left kicks
sprawls/ right kicks
box jumps/ knees
squat front kicks/ hooks
springs/ elbows
burpees/ double round kicks

Crosspit was 30 min.

cool down was 1 hour of karate, boxing techniques on the bag for 30 min. then pinions for the last 30 min. no walking for me tomorrow.

I haven't worked out for 4 days now...I got a pretty good burn the other day and walking at night has messed me all up...I have got to get up early and start walking.
I find that when I walk in the morning I eat better but if I eat at night I eat worse...most people want to eat more after working out...not me.
