I just finished my 30 day challenge last night. Workout #19 was just way too easy. I didn't even break a sweat. Now workout #20.... WOW!! I burned some calories there. I think I am going to take a break and then start another 30 day challenge at the next intensity level.

Only 2 more workouts left before I am done. 17 and 18 were pretty short workouts. 18 was rough. Lunge jumps, squat jumps, and lunge jumps all in a row. OUCH!!

I did workout #14 today. That is a killer on the legs. Lunges, lunge jumps, squat hold, and squats with calf raises. My legs feel like jello!!

Yeah I think if I just do 4 days in a row, then take a rest day and get back on track I should be caught up...I would agree that doing 6 in a row would be a scootch excessive

Even though it has you scheduled for rest you can still just click the 30-day challenge and do your workout. It will remind you that your body needs to rest LOL but it will let you do it. I did several days in a row (like 6) to try and catch up and really paid for it (couldn't work out for 2, so really didn't get ahead!) Have fun!

I am trying to work out, but it has me scheudled for a 'rest day', even though I missed a few days last week. Do any of you know how to trick it and do more than two days in a row (that is how my Wii has me scheduled).

I am in the same boat as you Jenilaura...I to worked out on Thursday, was sick on Friday, Sat and Sunday and really had to push myself to do workout number 6 today between work and dinner plans with friends. I had to skip a couple of the exercises because I was so wiped but was glad I did it and will also be working out everyday this week to catch up!!!

Got a little behind with my workouts. I have some kind of shoulder/neck muscle pain, and I don't want to make it worse. I did workout #6 today, but I need to keep it up, I don't think i can take a rest day this week in order to finish on time ;)

I did workout #6 yesterday, I'm thinking I might move it up to the medium level. I feel I've done pretty good, but could use more of a challenge. And it sounds like I'm going to have to splurge one day and get the Just Dance. It seems like it would be a really good (fun) workout!

I did workout #7 today. Not as intense as #6, though it said that I burned more calories. Who knows!! I also did 15 minutes of Just Dance.

I used a different nunchuck and it seemed to work better this time.

Terri, I was also having problems with it picking up my squats. I adjusted the leg strap. I had it up too high on my leg.

Hi, everyone! I did WO #6 today. Wow!!! That was a good one. I think this was the first time I worked up a sweat :o) It felt good! I followed it up with 15 minutes of Just Dance... I LOVE that game!! So much fun!! I'm still having some challenging with my remote/nunchuck. It doesn't seem to recognize my squats. Any suggestions?

Amy - You are cracking me up with the volleyball comments! I haven't gotten to "play" volleyball yet. I do find that I am far better with virtual sports than I am real sports!

Kate - We sound like two peas in a pod! I'm also on day 6 and find it very hard to workout on the weekends. I just sleep in a little later and seem a little busier. Oh, well. I'll just keep at it!

I start Day 6 tomorrow. I'm really proud of myself, I always find it tough to work out on the weekends, but I made sure to fit in the Wii Active. Today is my rest day, but I'm probably going to go to the gym and do some kickboxing to keep me going!

ADBEAU - I am just logging the time in the quicktracker (which doesn't seperate cardio from strength trainging). You could look for each individual strength training exercise and fit in the correct amount of reps (but I think that would take a while).

I just completed Day 4 (I took two rest days ina row because I was working out in other ways) and I was amazed at how good it felt. I am thinking I will up it to higintensity when I reach the half way point. I am also tracking it manually in my fitness tracker which is working well so far. Happy Sunday everyone

I did workout #4 today and since I was feeling very motivated I changed my intensity from low to medium. It was a great workout but I know my legs will be a little sore from the lunges and jump lunges. I also completed a custom workout with basketball and cardio boxing. I wanted the custom workout to keep me occupied on my rest day. My first rest day I got too comfortable and neglected my workout the day following the rest day.

Go, Jen and Amy!!! I did Workout 5 today. I also did 20 minutes of Just Dance. I love that game!! Not the hardest workout, but soooo much fun!

I do much better working out during the week. It hardly happens on the weekend... so I take my rest days then.

Yep, Jen... #4 is a toughie... but it's fun. Enjoy!

Hey, everyone. I did Day 4 this morning. OMG... I though the workout was more intense. Maybe I'm just tired, but I actually worked up a sweat on this one! I agree with Amy and Aymelek - jump lunges are a killer!!

Kate - Welcome to the group!!

Cherkyle - I adjusted the sensitivity by going to "Wii System Settings", then scroll over to "Sensor Bar" and the sensitivity adjustments are in there. Hope that helps!

I just finished my 4th workout (day 5). I HATE lunge jumps too!!!!!! I don't mind the jump squats but those lunges are killer.

I'm excited! I will start the 30 Day Challenge tomorrow 1/13. It will be the 3rd time I start the 30 Day Challenge. I think it's going to be easy to stay motivated with all the support from everyone!

StormDore- you can usually quit an exercise by pushing the + button and tellingit to skip the exercise. I have only done it once before though, so I could be thinking wrong.

Aymelek- go with what your heart rate monitor says, the game is just an estimate based on your weight and height. It's usually close, but if you use your heart rate monitor you will get a more accurate calorie burn...which could allow you to eat more or need to eat less throughout the day.

Just finished day #2 and I'm sweating! I also created a short 8 minute workout featuring inline skating, tennis, and boxing which definitely got the heart rate up.

Which leads me to my next question ... is anybody using a heart rate monitor while working out with this? When I wear mine, the number of calories burned is WAY over what the game says it is. Should I be going with the number on the game or the number on my HRM?

OK - Day 2 down (sort of). I did most of the workout, but it took FOREVER because it wasn't recognizing my remote... ugh!! By the end, I couldn't get it to do anything. I tapped/jiggled the remote/nunchuck, replaced batteries, yelled at the trainer... nothing worked. Now, I've lost the entire workout because I had to abandon it.

I think there's a way to skip an exercise once it starts? Does anyone know how?

I hope day 3 will be better.

I'm in! Today was my second day of the 30 Day challenge and I did it on hard today and medium yesterday.

I'm glad someone mentioned that we're able to uncheck certain exercises. I can't get the controllers right to do the bicep curls and it ends up taking FOREVER.

Other than that, I LOVE it!

OK - I posted the blog in my sparkpage, so please add to it whenever you would like...daily if that's what you need to keep you motivated!

I will send out prizes (very simple) for all of us that complete the 30 day challenge without having to start over.
If you do have to start over don't feel bad, just get back on the horse. I think this will be my third time trying to get all the way through.

We can get through the 30 days...really it's only 20 workouts!

I started the 30 day low intensity on Sat. Today is my rest day. I started a couple of weeks ago but had to start over because of the flu. I plan on getting through it this time.

My knees are bad too. What I have discovered so far is that the exercises remain basically the same, just more reps. If there are exercises you can't do because of knees (like squats) you can "uncheck" it and it will eliminate it from your workout. To do that, when it gives you the list of exercises, just uncheck the ones yu can't or don't want to do.
