Yay--I did it! It took me longer than I would have liked to get going, but I got my 10 minutes in...and then another 10 minutes! Every step counts.

I just started this challenge today, I love Coach Nicole's cardio videos...kickboxing, cardio blast...and they are all ten mins. One or two of them a day and you're off to a great start! And they KICK YOUR BUTT...you are sweating by the end of them!

Wednesday was Day 1 for me, and I did a fun dancey aerobics video for 15 minutes! Unfortunately, I didn't get it done yesterday, but I plan to make up for it today with some cardio and strength training....and maybe some yoga to finish up.

I'm already in my workout clothes, so I have no excuse for slacking today!

I have definitely fallen off track the past couple of weeks, but am getting back on track today! I know that having my kids home for the summer will make it easier for me to get in at least 10 minutes of exercise a day....I feel I need to be more accountable when they are around so that they pick up on my good habits and not the bad.

Week 1 day 6. So far I'm on track with getting my 10 minutes of walking in each day. :) It's been extremely hot throughout the country so I get my walking done in the evening when we park for the night. I lost 2 pounds this week...so I am feeling pretty good! Everybody take care, be careful outdoors in the heat, meet your goals and have fun!!!

Have slacked off on my goals recently - lots going on around me - but this challenge has really helped my get in at least 10 min a day. At least, I am doing this much. And reading how others are doing is a real encouragement.
Thanks to all who are posting here!!!

I joined this challenge because I've had a hard time with the exercise element of the program and procrastinating is no long an option for me. My goal this week with be 10 minutes of walking daily. Will probably be done indoors as AR days start and end on the humid side. My job is sedentary so getting up and walking in the building is a good way to start.

since joining the challenge I have been challenged with not being able to commit to my 12 minute walk around the office building.

I have, however, been able to wake up early and take a 30 minute walk.

Keep up the great work every1.

I have issues with my right lower leg that cause a lot of pain and discomfort for me when it is acting up. I had physical therapy and while I was in the worst of it, I had to cut way down on my physical activity. I gained some weight. Now I want to lose that weight and increase strength and flexibility to prevent the leg issues from getting worse or even happening again.

My goals are to spend the next 4 weeks doing 10 minutes a day doing strength training at home (mostly bodyweight exercises, but with a few weights and props), walking an extra mile 5 days a week, and stretching every day.

So far, I've kept it up for 5 days!

I already walk three or more miles a day. I am also signed up for the 28 day fitness challenge that Sparks has and I do the workout videos daily. So for this challenge I am going to add 10 to 15 minutes of strength training.
That is my challenge to get enough ST so I plan on using hand weights and resistance bands.
I will incorporate some of the Spark work out videos.
Good luck everyone on your challenge. Sandy

Hey, all. I'm going to be squeezing in 10 minutes of non-gym exercise a day this week, to get me off the couch between trips to the gym. I have a feeling I could be burning alot more in activity calories.

I thought a little gardening would be good way to start my streak, but I couldn't stop until it got dark. I dug holes, ripped out grass, built a rock wall and planted 15 assorted plants. Not traditional exercise, but I did get a good workout and it was fun!

Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end.

Hi everybody!

My goal this week is to do, at least, 10 minutes of cardio every day (zumba, walking...). Afterwards, some ST to complete the workout.

But the 10 MINUTES challenge is fantastic, because it's a small goal, and once I get started I keep going!

Hugs to all,

Mirie

My goal is to do 10 minutes of am yoga every morning. I know that I feel better starting my day with it, but more often than not the coffee pot calls to me rather than the yoga. This should give me the nudge I need to start the day with yoga rather than caffine.

It is just too easy to say, "I'll do it later" and then never "get" to it. With a challenge, I'll be more apt to just get it done! I swim twice a week and ride the recumbent bike three times a week. My goal is to continue that. I also have knee exercises to do every day in preparation for a total knee replacement at the end of July. I'll be sure to do those.
