Now that it is warmer, I'm finally getting out to explore the miles of walking trails (there's a mailbox at the head of the main trail with maps :-) but first walking the ring road around my community, to see how many steps that is. Turns out a few too many when you forget your asthma inhaler and have to pee, LOL. I did a half circle and that was about 1500 steps and I looked up and found there are 63369 steps in a mile and I think my stride length is 22 inches so there's 2880 steps in my mile :-)

I have not heard of the Gunnar Peterson stability ball workouts. I will go look them up. Thanks for the tip. I LOVE my stability ball!

I love bike riding, but I have a bike that the brakes never did work on it right. I live on a hill.... the 2 don't mix well. LOL! emoticon

I LOVE my stability balls. I have 1 I sit on at the computer (not right now with this strain) & the other in my massage room that I sit on when I do head & feet work. emoticon The 1 in my computer room is the 1 I use to exercise with. I LOVE using the ball for abs & dumbbell workouts. Are you familiar with Gunnar Peterson's stability ball workouts? I have a couple & they are easy & but you see results!

The recumbent bike is one of my favorite cardio exercises. I always smile when I see that Kim and Lainie are riding their bikes on their feed activity. How fun it would be to do a bike ride with all of the first steppers!

I need to improve EVERYTHING! LOL! Daily Sparking, which I'm currently improving. Tracking food, EATING healthier by adding more FRESH foods & less quick grab foods, & getting back to exercise (IF I can due to health issues), I can't thank this group enough for the challenge in hopes to get myself back on track again. It's not perfect yet, but it's improving with each day & I'm more mindful of what I'm doing. Thank you all for being here, your support, & acceptance. emoticon

I am a creature of habit! I have to shake up my exercise routine because I am currently in an exercise rut and I can see that I am not making the progress I want. My goal for March is to try a new exercise each week. A few possibilities:

I'm working on increasing my steps to build up my strength and endurance. Ultimate goals are to be able to walk up the stairs like a normal person and walk a mile by the end of summer.
