The best tip I ever received was not to let one little slip up derail all of your effort.

Things I've learned...

If you mess up or skip exercise...focus on getting back up faster and not letting a mistake turn into days or weeks or months.

Read success stories or watch success videos for motivation

Listen to music to workout longer and when feeling down

You CAN chose to start a "bad day" over again...even if it is mid-afternoon you can have a healthy snack, go for a quick walk...go take a shower and get dressed and put make-up on...anything to restart and not let the bad drag on.

I saw someone was questioning late night snacks. I struggle so much with that. However this time around I have uped my fiber during the day, I have a whole food bar late in the afternoon before dinner (Earnest Eats), after dinner I have another 24-32 oz of water. If I REALLY need something to chew on then 100 cal bag of popcorn helps since I am a carbs girl. Go the the recipe section and look in desserts. You can check them out according to calories and stuff. I just found a very yummy looking cinnamon/sugar baked pear recipe that I thought would be a wonderful treat if needed. Good luck to all!

Nice! I love having stuff on the calendar too. I did 5 5K's last year and that kept me motivated. I need to put something on the calendar again for a goal. Maybe start running again. Good Job!

Nice I like that! I have two tips (if I would just follow them) emoticon I have a calendar on my wall just for excersicing I put a big X to show the days I did something, I also have a 24oz cup from Starbucks (insulated) with a straw. For whatever reason because it has a straw I drink WAY MORE water when I have it filled.

Use this space to post your tips the little tricks that help you on your journey.

Here's one to get you started:

I have a free calendar I got from church. Every day if I have stuck to my eating plan, I put a big ole' dot in the square using a bingo marker. It's SO satisfying.
