I'm not a teacher, but I'm a student :-p

Today's weigh-in is 254.2 (down seven pounds from last week!)

No gym today (it's a scheduled day off) but I'll be back at it tomorrow for an hour on the arc trainer and strength training.

Great! I guess tomorrow AM is our starting point, and next week we'll both have successes to report!

Come on, ladies, I know there are more of you who want to set a 6-week goal! Certainly more teachers who want people to notice the difference when you return to school...

I weigh in less than 12 hours and I swam laps tonight for a little last minute calorie burn! I've been a little off the wagon (only a little - no gaining, but no losing either) and I want to break that tomorrow!

It's six weeks until I am back in front of the classroom, and I'd like to be down another 10-15 pounds by then! Anyone interested in joining me?

I'll post my results every Wednesday (my weigh day). Please post your results as well as any new ideas, reflections on your week, and other successes, and let's help each other along!

BTW my results so far are down 10 lbs in a little over a month. I've replaced fat with muscle through daily cardio and 2X/week strength training. Right now, I have time to cook well too, which has helped, but I'll have to learn some short cuts once school starts.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
